For students entering Grades 5-8.

This program is designed for participants who want to learn how to create their own game levels using Roblox, a gaming platform where participants can play and build game worlds. Produce your own immersive experiences, obbys, and platformer-style games. With Roblox as your engine, your game is only limited by your imagination. During the program, you will learn how to build 3D adventures, races, and obstacle courses.

For students entering Grades 5-8

Mounds Park Academy Basketball is excited to offer our annual Panther Basketball Camp--July 8th-11th in the Lansing Sports Center.

MPA's Head Basketball Coach, Chris Hopkins, will be running these basketball camps for students in grades K-8. The emphasis will be on shooting, ball handling, and fundamentals for all skill levels. This camp is open to all MPA and non-MPA students. MPA students are encouraged to invite a friend!

For students entering Grades 1-5.

Calling all future game developers! Bring your video game ideas to life as you learn the ins-and-outs of how a video game is designed and produced. In our Game Design 4 Kids program, participants learn the basics of video game development and design their own games using kid-friendly developer tools.

For students entering Grades K-2

Dive into the excitement of football with Skyhawks Flag Football. Guided by a curriculum crafted by USA Football experts, our coaches impart essential skills — passing, receiving, and flag pulling. In our fun and positive environment, participants not only gain confidence but also absorb valuable life lessons. The week ends with the Skyhawks Super Bowl, giving you a chance to showcase your skills on the gridiron. Get ready for a thrilling journey into the world of flag football!

For students entering Grades 1-5.

Welcome to Minecraft: Bed Wars - Junior Explorers! This captivating program is tailor-made for 1st to 4th graders who adore Minecraft and yearn for the thrill of competitive gaming. Bed Wars, one of Minecraft's most popular team survival games, takes center stage in this camp, transforming it into a delightful and educational esports adventure. Young gamers will master the art of strategy, teamwork, and rapid building using Minecraft Education Edition. The ultimate goal is to be the last player or team standing, achieved by skillfully safeguarding their beds, forging new friendships, and immersing themselves in endless amusement!

At Minecraft: Bed Wars - Junior Explorers, your child will embark on an exciting journey of learning, camaraderie, and fun within the enchanting world of Minecraft. Under the guidance of our experienced instructors, they'll tackle unique challenges, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for every participant. Join us, and witness your little gamer flourish in the virtual realm of creativity and strategy, as they embrace the spirit of adventure and teamwork as Junior Explorers!

Join us at Panther Camp for Kitchen Chemistry week! Activities will include learning about the dynamics of cooking and baking, working with various chemicals in a cooking contexts, and plenty of cooking, baking, and sampling! 

Panther Camp programs are for kids entering grades K through 6 in the fall of 2024. Extended day care, which is free of charge, is available as early as 7:30 AM and as late as 5:30 PM. Lunch is available for an additional fee. 

For students entering Grades 3-6

Skyhawks Track and Field provides the fundamentals of body positioning, stride, proper stretching, and cool‐down techniques. Track and field events include javelin, discus, shot put, hurdles, long jump, triple jump and various running and relay events. Participants also learn positive life skills such as teamwork and sportsmanship.

For students entering Grades 5-8.

In this esports program, competitors will develop and practice strategies that will prepare them to compete against other gamers in Fortnite. The main goal of the Fortnite esports program is to introduce good habits and strategies. Competitors will work together as a team to learn cooperative strategies, effective communication, prime routes on the map, and practice self-assessment skills. Using these techniques, our participants will be able to take their game to the next level on their way to the victory.
