For MPA Students rising into Grade 5-8

Executive Function (EF) is at the core of everything kids and teens are asked to do each day. Yet, their brains are not fully wired for this kind of sophisticated thinking. In this summer offering, students will learn skills and strategies to improve their planning, organization, and time management to become more independent, attentive, and mindful scholars. Students will feel confident about the new school year having armed themselves with some tools and strategies to tackle these challenges.  

Specific skills will include:

• Planner preparation
• Locker combination/organization
• School supply management
• Assignment prioritization
• Breaking projects into chunks
• Organizing and prioritizing school, home, and extracurricular activities
• Task initiation
• Office 365 and Schoology 
• Notetaking strategies
• Homework strategies
• Communication skills with peers and adults

For students entering Grades 1-5.

Are you ready to join a team of pro-builders? Join our multiplayer servers to develop your construction, leadership and team skills to accomplish unique missions as part of a group. Use your imagination to collaborate with your fellow team members to design and build a large-scale Minecraft Mission; no two challenges are alike. Creativity, critical thinking and communication will be your keys to success! This offering can be taken multiple times, each session is unique.

For students entering grades K-4.

Is your child crazy for Pokemon? Do they love trading Pokemon cards? Then we have the perfect class for them! We’ll use clay, sparkly paint, and Model Magic® to create everyone’s favorite Pokemon, Pikachu!

For students entering Grades 1-5.

Prepare for liftoff with Rocket League - Junior Rocketeers! This electrifying esports program is tailor-made for young adventurers in 1st to 4th grades, ready to embark on a high-octane journey into the thrilling world of Rocket League. Junior Rocketeers will soar as they discover ingenious moves, crafty strategies, pro tips, and tricks to outshine other young racers in this heart-pounding game. Rocket League propels them into an action-packed hybrid gaming experience, blending arcade-style soccer action with clever wit and skill.

Our mission is to ignite a fierce passion for STEM and esports in our competitors, as they unleash their untapped potential to rise as champions in the virtual Rocket League arena. In Junior Rocketeers prepare for liftoff, and soar into an unforgettable journey of skill honing, teamwork, and esports passion. Our experienced instructors will guide them through thrilling challenges, creating a safe and empowering environment for everyone. Join us as we bear witness to the ascent of champions, where young warriors unleash their explosive potential, embrace teamwork, and conquer the Rocket League arena!

Join us at Panther Camp for Performing Arts week! Campers will have the opportunity to learn magic, create and perform skits, and learn songs. The week will feature visits from performers who will share about their craft and eexperiences. 

Panther Camp programs are for kids entering grades K through 6 in the fall of 2024. Extended day care, which is free of charge, is available as early as 7:30 AM and as late as 5:30 PM. Lunch is available for an additional fee.

Rocket League is a high-powered hybrid gaming experience that features arcade-style soccer action, where each team uses their skills and wit to try and beat their competitors.
