Traditional Karate-Do Academy is a martial arts dojo teaching Traditional Karate-do style. Join us to learn the art of karate and the Japanese tradition of karate training. Learn karate to develop self-confidence, focus, self-discipline, teamwork, self control, respect for others, balance and coordination, and skills for self defense. New students are required to buy a gi (uniform) for $40.

Lower School STEM Club--Spring Session

We successfully relaunched MPA’s Lower School STEM Club--are you ready for round 2? Run by MPA’s Upper School STEMEd Club, this sessions are designed to spark a passion for science among students that will grow as they progress through their schooling. We will be focusing on a different fun and engaging science or engineering theme each class. Experiments will be simple and safe--giving students hands-on experience and the chance to conduct their own scientific explorations while connecting with passionate STEM-focused upper school students, many of whom were members of Lower School STEM Club themselves!”
Fitness Foundations for Young Athletes

For MPA students entering grades 3-5
The Fitness Foundations Summer Program will focus on fitness basics including core strength, movement basics, speed, agility, and conditioning. Multiple components of fitness are addressed, and all activities are age-appropriate, specifically designed and constructed with fitness in mind.
The 2024 program is seven weeks long and will consist of 14 training sessions beginning on June 11 and ending on August 1 (no events during the first week of July).
The prgram will be led by Mr. Ryther
Participants will receive a t-shirt.On the first day, please report to the Lansing Sports Center (Court 1). Athletic clothes and appropriate footwear are required and personal water bottles are highly recommended.
Panther PE Summer Camp GRADES K-2
with Tim Sheehan and Chris Hopkins
Panther PE Camp offers a friendly space for students of all athletic abilities to participate in a mix of some of the students’ favorite PE activities and games. Students will review and enhance skills they learned over the past year and participate in large group activities like “Sink the Ship” and “Capture the Infinity Stones.” Movement, teamwork, and participation will be the key components to this camp. This camp is open to all MPA and non-MPA students. MPA students are encouraged to invite a friend!
